The science behind Sofrea Reset
The formula, in plain language
You deserve more than a glossy promise. Six named ingredients, listed in order of weight, explained with the context and limits the science actually gives us.
01. 6 CLEARLY LABELED INGREDIENTS
02. EXACT AMOUNTS PER SERVING
03. ONE SIMPLE DAILY RITUAL
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Your gut and brain are in a group chat.
Researchers call it the microbiota-gut-brain axis: a two-way communication network involving the nervous system, immune signaling, hormones, microbial metabolites, the vagus nerve, and the enteric nervous system.⁽¹⁾
It helps explain why digestion, stress response, and everyday wellbeing are closely connected.

Our standards
Science that respects your intelligence.
We name every ingredient in our formula and explain why it's there, separating established knowledge from emerging research.
One serving, clearly defined.
Everything on this page refers to one serving of Sofrea Reset: two capsules.
Research, with context.
We explain the ingredient, the study design, and what the findings can realistically tell us.
A blend, fully named.
Six active ingredients, all disclosed by name and listed in order of weight. Sofrea Balance Blend, 580 mg per serving.
The process
Potential Wellness Support over time
True wellness is a continuous journey. Here is a timeline of the compounding benefits you may experience as your body adapts, recovers, and thrives with consistent daily support.
WEEK 1: The work starts before you see it
NOT A QUICK FIX. A DEEPER RESET. Because a flat stomach tonight means nothing if the bloat comes back tomorrow.
- The process starts beneath the surface
- Gut-brain support begins
- Digestion gets daily support
- Daily gut support starts building
MONTH 1: You start to feel the difference
- Less bloating after meals
- A flatter stomach by evening
- You feel lighter after eating
- More energy & mental clarity
This is where the work happening underneath starts becoming something you can actually see and feel.
MONTH 3: You start to trust your body
- Flat stomach from morning to night
- Bigger meals, without the bloated evening
- More confidence bringing foods back
- More energy, mental clarity & a more stable mood
What used to feel like a “good day” starts becoming your new normal.
MONTH 6+ : You stop thinking about it
- Your stomach stays consistently flat
- Eating out & traveling feel easier
- Stress doesn’t feel like starting from zero
- You dress for you, not to hide your stomach
Your stomach stops being something you plan your day around.
The formula
Six ingredients. One considered ritual.
Six complementary ingredients bring gut, calm, and everyday wellness support into one simple daily ritual. Every ingredient is named on the label and listed in order of weight — goat colostrum first.
Contains milk-derived goat colostrum. Not vegan.
Zinc is listed on its own because it has an established Daily Value. The other five ingredients make up the Sofrea Balance Blend — 580 mg per serving, listed in order of weight.
Zinc Bisglycinate
10 mg
A chelated form of an essential mineral involved in cellular metabolism and normal immune function.⁽⁷⁾
Grass-Fed Goat Colostrum
The first milk produced after birth, naturally containing proteins, immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, and oligosaccharides.⁽²⁾⁽³⁾
Heat-Treated L. reuteri
A heat-treated microbial preparation. Not a live probiotic culture. Strain, processing, dose, and evidence all matter.⁽⁴⁾
Lemon Balm Extract
Melissa officinalis has been explored in human stress-response research, although published studies use different doses and extracts.⁽⁶⁾
L-Theanine
A tea-derived amino acid researched in relaxation, attention, and stress-response contexts, often at higher doses than Sofrea.⁽⁵⁾
Ginger Extract
A familiar botanical in digestive routines. Modern studies continue to explore outcomes across very different forms and doses.⁽⁸⁾

WHY THESE SIX
Designed around the gut-brain conversation.
The formula brings together gut-focused support from goat colostrum, heat-treated L. reuteri, ginger, and zinc with calm-focused support from L-theanine and lemon balm.*
One simple, two-capsule ritual for the days when your stomach and your head both feel like a lot.
Research snapshots
The data, with the fine print intact.
P < 0.05
Goat colostrum + bacterial
In laboratory study, growth of Bifidobacterium species was greater in goat colostrum than in the compared media.⁽²⁾
UP TO 78
Oligosaccharide structures
An analytical study identified up to 78 structures in the goat colostrum samples tested.⁽³⁾
POSTBIOTIC
≠ live probiotic
Strain, processing, dose, and preparation-specific evidence determine what can responsibly be said.⁽⁴⁾
How to read the research
The fine print is the point.
Same name. Different evidence.
Strain, standardization, source, extraction, and processing can all change the story.
Dose matters.
A study at 200 mg, 600 mg, or 1.2 g is not proof for a smaller or differently prepared amount.
The finished product matters.
Until Sofrea Reset is clinically tested, ingredient studies remain rationale - not a guarantee
What we won't do
No overnight promises.
No body shame.
No shortcuts.
Sofrea Reset is not a treatment for anxiety, depression, IBS, SIBO, or any other condition. We will not promise an overnight microbiome reset, and we don't quote studies run on other ingredients as if they were ours.
Your body deserves real support, built for everyday life. Sofrea Reset is part of this journey.
If symptoms are persistent, severe, or changing, speak with a qualified health care professional.
